Big yum! Weird vibes yo. But like really good ones. The food was surprisingly gourmet and very tasty! Definitely something to try. The meatballs were out of this world the pizza was amazing and the shrimp balls were good. The bottle of wine was also good.
SO good & such unique options! We loved the heirloom tomato salad. The leeky cauldron was so delicious and filling. The Cheddah and Feta pie was also great & we had leftovers to take home. We also got the frozen margs which were really good. They brought out each dish right as we were finishing the last which was perfect. This place is definitely worth the hype & I can’t wait to come back!
I am really torn on Shuggies - I love their mission, the space, and the presentation but the food itself was not that amazing with the pizza being the only thing I’d look truly forward to ordering again. I will say I’ve been seeing all the hype from NYT and Bon Apetit so my expectations may have just been too high. That being said it is such a cool space that I could see myself bringing out of town guests for the novelty alone.
The highlights of the meal were the presentation of the green goddess salad that comes in a statue bust (though the flavor was only fine), the pizza which was cooked well had a good flavor and was a really nice texture, and the “orange shower” which we found out was getting to drink orange wine from a porron. See my pictures for that.
I hope I get to go back in the future and have an excellent food experience that takes this all the way up to a 5.
Such a fun, unique restaurant! I love the selection of natural wine. The food is so so flavorful and artfully put together. The atmosphere is silly and the staff very kind and you can tell they love what they do. Shout out to my favorite server and just Camile Messerley for being full of smiles and the best recommendations.
Love the concept, decor is a sensory overload, pie and dips are definitely cheesy and greasy, but really good for bar food! Calamari was my fave, lots of heat from jalapeños. Wines are quite pricey, but looked great!
Really amazing food, service and vibes! We loved every single thing about this place and already want to come back.
We had the Pina coladas, garlic knots, leeky cauldron fondu, and the sausage party trash pie with buratta and chili + honey. Everything was just incredible and I wish I had a bigger stomach to eat dessert.
It can get a little loud but it's not a deterrent at all.
This place was so cute! We stumbled upon it our first night out in a long time, and I’m glad we did! The space was amazing and the food was even better! The pina colada was very strong, but I’m not complaining lol I’m excited to come here again with friends!
Came here on a Friday evening with my sister and our 12yo niece. We were seated right away and was given an 1.5 hr time limit (more than enough time for our dinner). The ambience was fun, with music playing in their popular themed dining rooms
My sister and I ordered the blueberry wine slushy - super delicious, tasted like sangria. We also ordered the two vegetarian trash pies (Hawt Squash and Shroom with a View) and the Stems, Leaves, Buds appetizer. The food definitely filled us up and was enough for the three of us. Overall our check was around $90.
Our waiter was amazing and kind, always checking in with us throughout our dinner. Would definitely come here again!
